Phyllis, deepest sympathies to you and the family.

Arnold was Always kind and considerate to everyone.
His obituary was inspirational and loving. So true of the man I knew as a teenager.
Some people touch your soul and stay there, Arnold was one of those that I remember fondly.

He and you are in my prayers, Lana Goldberg Gauvreau

I knew Arnie was a genuinely decent and nice person the day we met during the summer of 1956. I also knew I had made a good friend. Nothing he said or did since then has given me reason to change my mind. Arnie was a generous and unassuming good man.

So sorry to hear of Arnold's passing.  He was a good friend of mine in high school.  I'm sure he will be missed by family and friends.  So sorry I lost touch with him.

Arnie was one of those guys you could not say anything bad about.  He was a good guy.  I knew him in HS and then again we hooked up at Ft. Monmouth.  He will surely be missed but never forgotton.  May he rest in peace for all time.

Arnold was a grade school friend when I lived in Wanamassa and we remained friends thru APHS. He was one of the good ones. The world is a lesser place without him.

In my APHS memory, I see Arnold standing at Mrs. Van Campen's desk in her classroom, the two of them laughing at the message on a big cake -- but what was the occasion ?

I am saddened to learn that our classmate has died. Our numbers may diminish but not our affection for one another. As so many of you have written, Arnold was one of the good guys. May his memory be as a blessing to all those who loved him and were loved by him.
