A message from the family of Brian Battjer:

It is with a saddened heart that we need to share Brian's passing this morning. He was peaceful and surrounded by family. It was a difficult year for us all, but we got through it with the love and support of his friends and family. Know that every call, text, and visit was much appreciated. It always put a smile on his face.
