Patty sat behind me in many classes and her sense of humor was contagious. Sorry to hear of her passing.

My heart aches at this sad news. Pat -- Patty, always -- and I became friends that first week of Freshman English at APHS, when Mr. Gust asked me to walk her to her next class. We quickly developed our routine: she'd carry my books, and I'd carry hers. The Braille edition of "The Merchant of Venice" was 5 huge volumes! Our friendship deepened and we spent many hours together, at her home with her charming and lovely parents; on the phone writing papers together; spending a day in Greenwich Village; swimming in the inlet behind her house; our memorable "blind-blind-double date". Our friendship lasted until now. Forgive me, dear classmates, for my recitation of happy memories.

May her memory be as a blessing to all those who knew Pat, who loved her and were loved by her.

I'm so sorry, Patti.  We had some wonderful times at Pattie's house and beautiful yard.  She got to ride a horse for the first time at my birthday party at Tuckey's Stables.  Patti is missed.  Her name will be for a blessing.
