I did not know Gene at all but remember him as an APHS classmate. Every time we loose one of our classmates it makes me realize my own mortality & where have all those years gone so quickly.... RIP Gene Silverman.
Geno was a great friend I have many great memories of him but one of my favorites is when Geno , Billy Coutros and I would go to Freddie's on Asbury ave and order 2 pizzas and Geno would be done with a whole pie before Cooter and I even finished 2 slices He will be missed

I remember that lunch we had with Vic at Freddies...after quickly polishing off his pizza, he was staring at our 3rd slices. The fastest eater of all time.
